Hola !!!! mi nombre es Anabel Merker y le doy la bienvenida a mi mundo !!! espero que pase un buen momento en mi sitio!! Todas las personas me conocen con un perrito a mi lado……pienso que quizás sea un amor que heredé de mi abuelo Johan E. Merker nacido en Meissen ( Alemania ) que en su juventud vino a vivir a estas tierras de Quilmes a una colonia alemana donde estaba instalada –aún hoy- la Cervecería y Maltería Quilmes. Mi opa llegó a tener una buena jerarquía en su trabajo y paralelamente se dedicó a la cría de caballos, y en su casa, a la crianza de Fox Terrier Wire. Desde niña me apasionaron las historias de mi abuelo con sus Fox Terriers …Adoraba a todos los animales por sobre todas las cosas de este mundo, pero yo no tenía ninguno, hasta que a los 7 años … por fin!!! mis padres accedieron a comprar una cachorra Dachshund Pelo Corto negra, la llamamos Micaela. Con ella comenzó un camino de ida y de amor incondicional que se perpetuaron con sus hijos. Micaela y sus bebés no tenían calidad de show, pero eran adorables mascotas. A los 21 años me casé con mi esposo Daniel y los Dachshund quedaron en casa de mis padres, yo extrañaba no tener perros…
Con mi esposo compramos una Caniche Toy blanca llamada Kiria. A los pocos meses de llegar Kiria a casa, nació nuestro hijo Alexis, Kiria y Alexis se criaron juntos. Mientras trabajaba en el negocio familiar de mis padres, llevaba conmigo a Alexis y a nuestra amada Kiria.
Un día pasé por una veterinaria y en su vidriera ví a una bolita diminuta y negra !!!! Entré a preguntar raza, edad, sexo. Era Anita !!!!!!! Una preciosa Yorkshire Terrier a quien le debo TODO !! Por ella comencé a informarme sobre la raza, líneas de sangre, cuidados, cría, etc. Comencé a frecuentar exposiciones especializadas y generales, y a relacionarme con los excelentes criadores y expositores argentinos que asisten regularmente. A esa altura fue necesario aumentar mis conocimientos y comencé a tomar cursos de estructura y movimiento, cinofilia general, cursos de genética canina, neonatología, cursos especializados en Yorkshire Terrier, etc. En fin, por Anita me enamoré de esta maravillosa raza y quise tener una Yorkie de show…..allí vino Two Moon’s Milagros New Year (mi dulce Millie) a la que le faltan 2 puntos para terminar su campeonato, presentada por mi.
Luego vino un hermoso macho Ch. Arg. Two Moon’s Fly With Me. Fly es como reproductor, la piedra fundamental de mi programa de linebreeding que esta basado en las mejores y sólidas líneas de sangre de campeones de Canadá, Estados Unidos y Alemania. Mi búsqueda permanente de selección es un Yorkshire Terrier elegante y con clase, que no pase desapercibido en tipo, estructura y movimiento, extrovertido temperamento, pelo seda, color, líneas dorsales rectas y exquisitas cabezas.
Hoy cuento con un pequeño kennel familiar y convivimos con nuestros Yorkies. Mi hijo Alexis es fundamental con su ayuda diaria y el amor que les profesa a nuestros perritos. Mi esposo es abogado y trabaja para una empresa en Capital Federal, pero está pendiente de cada uno de nuestros Yorkies y me ayuda siempre en cada nacimiento.

Everybody knows me as having a little dog next to me all the time… I think it’s a kind of love that I inherited from my grandfather, Johan E. Merker, who was born in Meissen (Germany) and as a young man, settled in a German colony in Quilmes where it stood, and still stands, the Brewery and malt factory called Quilmes. My “opa” was highly regarded in his job and at the same time he specialized in Horse breeding, and in his own house, Fox Terrier Wire breeding. Since I was a child, I have always loved listening to my grandfather’s anecdotes with his Fox Terriers… I loved animals more than anything in this world, but I didn’t have any, until the age of 7 …. At last!!! My parents agreed to buy a black short-haired Dachshund puppy, who we called Micaela. With her, began my jumping-off point, an unconditional love that perpetuated with her puppies. Micaela and her babies were not show dogs, but they were adorable pets. At the age of 21 I married Daniel and my Dachshund stayed at home in my parents’ house; I missed being with dogs…
My husband and I bought a white Toy Poodle called Kiria. A few months after Kiria arrived home, our son Alexis was born. Kiria and Alexis grew up together. While working in my parents’ family business, I always had Alexis and our loving Kiria with me.
One day I stopped at a pet shop window and saw a tiny black ball!!!! I went in and asked what breed it was, its age, and sex. It was Anita!!!!!!! A gorgeous Yorkshire Terrier to whom I owe EVERYTHING!! Because of her, I became interested in finding out about the breed, blood family, how to care for, raise, and so on. I began to frequent specialized and general dog shows and make connections with excellent breeders and Argentinean exhibitors who regularly attend these shows. At that point it was necessary to enhance my knowledge and take courses in structure and movement, general dog breeding, dog genetics, neonatology, and courses specifically about Yorkshire Terriers, etc. In short, due to Anita, I fell in love with this marvelous breed and wanted to have a Yorkie show dog... ... it was then, came Two Moon’s Milagros New Year (my sweet Millie). I submitted her and she missed the championship by only 2 points.
Then came a beautiful male, Arg.Ch Two Moon’s Fly With Me,. Fly is a stud, the cornerstone of my line breeding program based on the best and solid family bloodline champions from Canada, the US & Germany. My constant selection search is directed to an elegant Yorkshire Terrier with excellence, remarkable in type, structure and movement, extroverted, with silk-like hair, color, straight dorsal lines and an exquisite head.
Today I have a little family kennel and we live together with our Yorkies. My son, Alexis, plays an important role in the daily help he provides and the constant love he shows to our little dogs. My husband is a lawyer and works for a company in Capital Federal, but he always pays attention to our Yorkies and helps in every birth.
